Get ready for Christmas!
It’s almost our favorite time of the year. We love the annual countdown to Christmas. We always do advent calendars, fun activities, crafts, outings, service and themed food!
Some years I have been really organized and had everything planned out for every day, but this year I am being a little more flexible. It seems like stuff keeps changing with our schedules and I keep having to move stuff around. So, I have left most of it blank and the plan is to do it week by week. We’ll see how it goes!
Here is a cute calendar that you can use to organize your activities! I just use magnet tape on the back and hang it up on the fridge.

Light the World
We especially like to do service during the Christmas season. I always want my kids to remember how blessed they are and that one of the greatest ways to show that is by helping others! I love the image of being a light, standing out from the crowd, being an example, choosing goodness and kindness.
Here is the pdf from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with a bunch of ideas!
Good luck with your own Christmas countdown! I would love to hear what fun things you guys do! I’m always looking for new traditions!
